MakeItMine is a free iphone app on cydia which allows you to set custom text on iphone status bar in place of Carrier name and banner.
In order to locate the app, Open Cydia on your iphone and search for the text MakeItMine
Install this app on your iphone, by tapping the Install button after finding the application
Run this application and type the custom name in the text box shown in the application, tap the carrier button to set the text in place of the carrier name and banner button to set the text in the middle of the status bar.
Note: You can set different text for carrier name and middle text banner.

i tried this app after downloading, but when i enter a name to set for either the carrier or the banner, nothing changes, even when i respring
hi ive gone through all the steps and got up to entering the text, one i have done so no matter what i choose carrier or banner nothing happens at all even after respringing :S please help
Hi!!! I’m update for 4.2 OS and jailbreak my phone, and I install the makeitmine app, but it doesn’t work!!! I put the name, but when I press carrier or banner it doesn’t do anything!!! Hope you can help me!!
Hi, I have an iPhone 4 and I confirm that MIM does not work at all to change the banner, even if I respring! Any other app to put my name on the status bar (not to change the carriuer!)? Tks!
