Mount Any iPhone Jailbroken or Not As Windows Local Drive With iPhoneFS

by abhishek bhatnagar on March 30, 2010

Yes, you can now mount your iPhone as a local drive under windows, using free application called iPhoneFS which is based on WinFUSE that allows you to see the iPhone as a drive in Windows explorer, or any Windows.

It works by using the AFC service on the iPhone and mapping it to CIFS server functions, making you iphone seem like a network drive.

Note: This application is still in alpha stage so it might crash also while you try to use it, but don’t worry a stable version will be released in some time.

Download iPhoneFS

There is PhoneDisk for Mac, which also uses FUSE.
