Iomega has launched their range of external ssd drives in 3 options in size 64GB (35141), 128GB and 256GB (35143). Some time back we got the 64 GB Iomega SSD drive for review. Looking at the drive the design of the drive, the casing of the drive looks great and is very rigid and solid which can safely protect the drive in case of fallback. The small LED indicator which flashes while doing the data transfer on the drive looks great on the metal finish dark color. On the other hand the sleek design makes it really portable, with great built and form factor.

Final Conclusion – I really like Iomega SSD Drive, its fast, silent and very portable to carry it along any where I want to, its so light in weight that you may not event notice that you are carrying it. Due to the cool mat finish case there will be no traces of fingerprints and other marks. It does come with support for 128 bit AES encryption which allows you to encrypt important data on the drive. If you use it with USB 3.0 port you will see some amazing data transfer speed for both read and write operations and even when you use it will USB 2.0 port it gives much better and faster speed as compared to other portable SATA drives available in market.
