Asus X101 comes with meego preinstalled, with some applications like chromium browser, apps store and other useful internet based apps. It has amazing hardware configuration which comes at a great value price, even if you don’t plan to run meego on it, we would suggest go for it, as you can later wipe off meego and install windows 7 starter edition and asus has the driver support, which means you can download the drivers from the asus official website once you install windows 7 starter, but there is no option of having meego and windows 7 in dual boot configuration.
Asus X101 specification and configuration as shown in the image below.

Price of Asus X101 Netbook
Asus has partnered with reliance on this netbook, so Asus’ collaboration with RCom brings down the price of ASUS X101 Netbook from Rs 12,499 /- to Rs 9,999/ but how ? if you buy ASUS x101 netbook from any reliance store, you will get a reliance data card with it, in the same cost of 12,499 and once you start using the data card with any plan you choose you get around 200 INR discount every month on billing and in total you will get 2500 INR discount in total, which means you get a your Asus x101 netbook for 9,999 INR, however this looks like a more catch to me rather than discount.
