iBluetooth for iPhone firmware 3.x has finally been released in beta and is renamed as iBlueNova. We recently announced that iBluetooth for firmware 3.x is going to be released soon.
iBlueNova allows iPhone 3G / 3GS and iPod Touch running firmware 3.x to send pictures and video files over Bluetooth to any other Bluetooth enabled phone or any laptop with Bluetooth.
The iBluetooth app used to work well with iPhone 3G running firmware 2.x, but not iPhone 3G / 3GS running firmware 3.x . The iBlueNova works on iPhone with firmware 3.x . Apple does not provide this feature in the standard firmware of iPhone to send or receive files over Bluetooth yet. Thanks to Medevil for developing the iBluetooth and iBlueNova. There options to control whether you want your iPhone to be visible to other Bluetooth devices or not. There is an in-built file manager to browse and manage files transferred over Bluetooth. It searched the nearby devices just like any other Bluetooth device does and
iBlueNova available to only few beta testers right now, it app will be available on a 15 Day free trial once it is released for everyone on Cydia. After the end of 15 Days trial, you will need to buy a license to use it. People who have purchased the earlier version of iBluetooth will get iBlueNova for free. The price of iBlueNova for new users has not been announced officially yet.
