F0recast Tells You Whether Your iPhone or iPod Touch Can Be Jailbreaked and Unlocked

iH8Sn0w, the developer of Snowbreeze has just released a cool tool for all those people who want to know about how to jailbreak and unlock their iphones and ipod touches after upgrading to the latest firmware.

He has developed and released a tool called Forecast for all iphone 3gs, 3g, 2g and ipod touch 3g, 2g, and 1g users. This tool tells the iphone and ipod touch users everything about the jailbreak and unlock.

It will provide all the information needed to do jailbreaking and unlocking iphone and ipod touches. It detects your iphone or ipod touch and tells you the status of your iphone or ipod touch, it also tells you whether your iphone can be jailbreaked and unlocked at the current firmware. [ as shown in the image below ]


It displays the serial number of your device, baseband version, boot loader, and model number, more over it is also tells you whether it can be unlockable and gives you the name and link to the tool required to unlock, tells you whether you device is tethered or not. At the bottom of the application it display the current firmware of your iphone or ipod touch connected.

Note: Make sure to run this tool after connecting your iphone or ipod touch to your computer.

Once you get the required information you can use the tools like redsn0w and Pwnage tool to jailbreak iphone and ipod touch and then unlock your iphone with the required tool.
