<p>If you have accidentally upgraded your unlocked iPhone 3G to 3.1 3 firmware and lost your unlock because of the Baseband changes, here is a good news for you.</p>
<p><strong>FuzzyBand </strong>is a Cydia App which can downgrade your iPhone baseband from 05.12.01 to 04.26.08.</p>
<p>&#160;<a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_4123.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IMG_4123" border="0" alt="IMG_4123" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_4123_thumb.png" width="324" height="484" /></a> </p>
<p>It has a limitation that it works <strong>only for iPhone 3G running 3.1.3 firmware with older boot rom 05.08 </strong>and not for iPhone 3G with newer boot roms. It also <strong>does not work for iPhone 3Gs</strong>.</p>
<p> <span id="more-1336"></span>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_4124.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IMG_4124" border="0" alt="IMG_4124" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_4124_thumb.png" width="324" height="484" /></a></p>
<h2>Steps to Use FuzzyBand To Downgrade iPhone 3G Baseband from 05.12.01 to 04.26.08 And Unlock iPhone 3G</h2>
<ol>
<li><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/guide-to-use-pwnage-tool-to-jailbreak-iphone-3gs-3g-and-2g-with-firmware-3-1-3/" target="_blank">Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using Pwnage Tool</a></li>
<li>Launch Cydia and search FuzzyBand App in Cydia. Install the App.</li>
<li>Launch the FuzzyBand App and click the Downgrade Option.</li>
<li>Reboot your iPhone 3G after the downgrade completes.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/working-unlock-iphone-3gs-running-3-1-3-using-ultrasnow-0-92" target="_blank">Unlock your iPhone 3G Using Ultrasn0w 0.9.2</a></li>
</ol>
<p>Be careful that this tool works only for iPhone 3G with older boot roms and not for any other type of iPhone.</p>

<p>This afternoon my EDGE on my iPhone 3Gs stopped working. I checked the APN settings, checked whether 3G or other settings are turned on. Everything seemed fine, but the EDGE was not working.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/IMG_2030.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IMG_2030" border="0" alt="IMG_2030" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/IMG_2030_thumb.png" width="324" height="484" /></a> </p>
<p>I rebooted my phone using SB Settings, but it did not work. In this article I will share with you how I fixed it.</p>
<p> <span id="more-932"></span>
<p>This probably started when the battery of my phone got too low (around 3 %) this morning. I charges the phone to full 100 % using the wall charger. I am assuming that low battery might have turned off /disabled EDGE for battery Saving. I checked whether 3G was enabled or not, i checked <a href="http://www.troublefixers.com/how-to-enable-gprsedgeapn-settings-in-jailbroken-iphone-3gs/" target="_blank">the APN settings on my iPhone</a>, I checked Network connection settings, it also looked fine.</p>
<p>Later I realized that re-booting from SB Settings was actually a soft boot (in which the power is not cut off completely, just a restart of the firmware takes place). A soft re-boot might not be enough to bring back the 3G/EDGE to turn on again when the battery was even full.</p>
<p>Finally I rebooted using the power button on the top of the iPhone and it was completely tuned off. I restarted the iPhone after 10 seconds and everything was fine again. I can now access my EDGE / 3G network without any problems <img src='http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

		</div>
<p>I have been using iPhone tethering using iPhone Data-Cable on my windows PC. In this article I will share how I paired my iPhone With Windows 7 And Windows Vista Computer to enable tethering using Bluetooth.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0980.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IMG_0980" border="0" alt="IMG_0980" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0980_thumb.png" width="324" height="484" /></a> </p>
<p><strong><u>NOTE</u></strong>: If you don’t have tethering enabled on your iPhone, see the tutorials below :</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/enable-iphone-tethering-for-any-mobile-network-in-any-country/" target="_blank">Enable iPhone Tethering On Any Network In Any Country</a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/iphone-tethering-on-windows-pc-without-installing-itunes/" target="_blank">Use iPhone Tethering Without Installing iTunes On Any Windows PC</a></p>
<p>Now I will share with you how to correctly Pair and Connect iPhone using Bluetooth with Windows 7 and Windows Vista in two separate sections below.</p>
<p> <span id="more-794"></span><br />
<h2>iPhone Pairing With Windows 7 Laptop / Desktop</h2>
<p>Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone from:</p>
<p><strong>General &gt; Settings &gt; Bluetooth</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0981.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IMG_0981" border="0" alt="IMG_0981" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0981_thumb.png" width="324" height="484" /></a> </p>
<p>Simultaneously on your Windows 7 PC, right click on Bluetooth icon in tray and click “<strong>Add a device</strong>” option.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/bluetoothpairing.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="bluetooth pairing" border="0" alt="bluetooth pairing" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/bluetoothpairing_thumb.png" width="244" height="223" /></a> </p>
<p>This will show your iPhone in Bluetooth device search Window, select the Phone and click Next. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/pairwithiphone.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="pair-with-iphone" border="0" alt="pair-with-iphone" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/pairwithiphone_thumb.png" width="629" height="488" /></a> </p>
<p>This above window will give you a pairing code to pair the iPhone. Put the code on iPhone screen as see below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0983.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IMG_0983" border="0" alt="IMG_0983" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0983_thumb.png" width="324" height="484" /></a> </p>
<p>Click Next and It will pair the iPhone. However it will show some iPhone Peripheral Bluetooth drivers error. Just ignore that error message. Now on your Windows 7 PC click on <strong>Start&#160; &gt; Devices and Printers</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/devicesandprinters.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="devices-and-printers" border="0" alt="devices-and-printers" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/devicesandprinters_thumb.png" width="516" height="387" /></a> </p>
<p>Here you will see your iPhone as seen below, right click on it and click properties.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/rightclikconiphoneproperties.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="right-clikc-on-iphone-properties" border="0" alt="right-clikc-on-iphone-properties" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/rightclikconiphoneproperties_thumb.png" width="711" height="422" /></a> </p>
<p>Uncheck the “<strong>Wireless iAP”</strong> option on the Services Tab of the properties Window and click OK.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/uncheckwirelessipaoptions.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="uncheck-wireless-ipa-options" border="0" alt="uncheck-wireless-ipa-options" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/uncheckwirelessipaoptions_thumb.png" width="551" height="630" /></a> </p>
<p>Now again Right Click on the iPhone icon and create a shortcut. This will allow easy access from Desktop.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/createdesktopshortcut.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="create-desktop-shortcut" border="0" alt="create-desktop-shortcut" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/createdesktopshortcut_thumb.png" width="305" height="278" /></a> </p>
<p>Now Right-click on iPhone icon on Desktop and select the option to “<strong>Connect using &gt; Access Point”</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/iphonebluetoothtethering.png"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="iphone-bluetooth-tethering" border="0" alt="iphone-bluetooth-tethering" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/iphonebluetoothtethering_thumb.png" width="556" height="498" /></a> </p>
<p>That is it <img src='http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  </p>
<p>You are now connected to iPhone Tethering from your Windows 7 PC.</p>
<h2>iPhone Pairing With Windows Vista Laptop / Desktop</h2>
<p>Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone from:</p>
<p><strong>General &gt; Settings &gt; Bluetooth</strong></p>

<p>In this article I will share the manual 3G settings for Apple iPhone for BSNL and MTNL.</p>
<p><span id="more-730"></span></p>
<p>As MTNL and BSNL have not officially launched iPhone on their 3G network, so the iPhone does not come with pre-installed settings for BSNL or MTNL. Even if you try to get the automatic settings via SMS, you may not find iPhone compatible automatic settings from BSNL / MTNL.</p>
<p>If you are using an unlooked iPhone which can support BSNL/ MTNL SIM card, you have to add manual APN settings.</p>
<p>For APN Settings, go to</p>
<p><strong>Settings &gt; General &gt; Network &gt; Cellular Data Network </strong></p>
<p>Here you need to add the APN settings for BSNL / MTNL. If you the “<strong>Cellular Data Network” </strong>option is missing in your <strong>Network</strong> settings, then you need to enable the APN settings for your iPhone by following this tutorial – <a href="http://www.troublefixers.com/how-to-enable-gprsedgeapn-settings-in-jailbroken-iphone-3gs/" target="_blank">Enable APN Settings On Jail-broken iPhone</a></p>

<p>password – <strong>mtnl123</strong></p>
<h4>For prepaid Trump subscribers</h4>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>Knox Pixel Fix for iPhone / iPod Touch is a wonderful web-app which runs from the iPhone browser and does not require any installation from Appstore or Cydia. Its free for use and can fix the dead pixels of your iPhone.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0964.png"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="IMG_0964" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0964_thumb.png" border="0" alt="IMG_0964" width="324" height="484" /></a></p>
<p>The app will open inside the Safari browser of the iPhone / iPod touch. You can test for the stuck Pixels on the iPhone. The best part is that its a web-app and there is no need for installation, so it works with all types of iPhones (2G/3G/3Gs) and all type of firmware of iPhone / iPod .</p>
<p><span id="more-725"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0962.png"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="IMG_0962" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0962_thumb.png" border="0" alt="IMG_0962" width="324" height="484" /></a></p>
<p>The test relies on the way of scrolling some single colored patters to identify any dead pixels on your iPhone screen. After you test for the dead pixels, you may fix if you find any.</p>
<p>To fix the dead pixels, you need to choose the option to “Repair iPhone LCD” , this will open a page which will very frequently change the screen color. This kind of behavior excites the dead pixels and they might get fixed.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0960.png"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="IMG_0960" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0960_thumb.png" border="0" alt="IMG_0960" width="324" height="484" /></a> <a href="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0961.png"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="IMG_0961" src="http://www.getmeapp.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_0961_thumb.png" border="0" alt="IMG_0961" width="324" height="484" /></a></p>
<p>The app does not guarantee to fix all kind of dead pixels, but I feel that there is no harm in giving it a try.</p>
<p>Open this link on iPhone to use the web app [<a rel="nofollow" href="http://ebaspace.com/iphone-app/#home" target="_blank">Knox Pixel Fix For iPhone / iPod</a>]</p>
