Infiniboard is an iPhone on Cydia developed by chpwn which allows you to scroll your iPhone icons on the springboard in a way you have never done before. Infiniboard allows vertical scrolling of icons on the springboard. After installing this app from the Cydia, you can arrange more than 16 icons on one page which can be viewed by Vertically scrolling the icons.

This app is available for download by BigBoss and can be purchased for $ 1.99 via PayPal.

The settings of the app allow you turn on and off vertical scrolling, scrolling bounce effect, styling etc.

You can arrange as many icons on one page as you like and they will be stacked in such a way that the icons will be available on scrolling vertically on the springboard of your iPhone.

There are many times when you may want to disable accelerometer rotation feature under different  applications under iPhone or you may want to disable it for all applications.

iNoRotate is a free application which allows you to disable the autorotation feature when rotation has been enabled, you can either choose to disable rotation on all the applications or set the toggle off for some applications of your choice.

Note: It does not allows you to stop auto rotation in other third party apps installed.

Here is how to locate it, install it and then configure it.

Open Cydia and search iNoRotate, install it

Once installed you will need to go to Settings >> iNoRotate

Today we will tell you about another cool application for iPhone and iPod Touch [ Jailbroken Only ] which allows you to lock or unlock your device by shaking gesture.

Here is how to locate, install and configure this application.

Open Cydia and search iShakeLock 

Install it

Once installed, go to Settings >> iShakeLock To configure this app

Android phone have a cool unlock screen in which you need to slide your finger to form a pattern to unlock the device, now you can apply the same style kind of pattern lock screen in iPhone and iPod Touch too.

AndroidLock is a free application released in cydia under bigboss repository which brings Android like unlock screen in iPhone and iPod Touches. [ as shown in the image below ]

In order to install this application on your jailbroken iphone or iPod search AndroidLock on Cydia.

Once installed first you need to create a lock pattern, to create one go to Settings  >> AndroidLock  and then set your pattern to unlock it.

Recovery If You Forget Your Pattern 

If by any chance you forgot your lock pattern, follow the instructions below.

• Call your iPhone from another phone
• Answer the call and then Press Home button
• Go to Cydia and uninstall AndroidLock

You can re install AndroidLock anytime and set a new pattern again.

PS : Its so cool to unlock you iPhone this way through a set pattern.

  Good news for all who were waiting for the release of iBlueNova iPhone app (this includes me too). The iBlueNova has been released on Cydia and has been priced at $5.99.

This app allows you to share all kind of files using Bluetooth via iPhone 3G / 3Gs running firmware 3.x.

The app is available for free for 15 days trial. If you have purchased iBluetooth in the past (the similar app for iPhone firmware 2.x, then you can activate this app for free without buying a new license.

I have downloaded the trial version have have just tried the App with my Windows 7 Desktop PC over Bluetooth. It works like a charm.

I tested it by sending a picture to and from my Windows 7 PC. It will search for devices and will send files / pictures / Videos / Music etc via Bluetooth.

For security reasons, it allows the use of PIN for transferring files.

The interface is very easy to use and it works very well and efficiently.

I am definitely going to get this app for my iPhone 3Gs.

We previously shared information about the iBlueNova – Bluetooth App To Transfer Any File Over Bluetooth For iPhone 3G / 3GS Running 3.x Firmware.

The latest update is that the MeDevil is almost ready to rollout the iBlueNova. It unlocks the Bluetooth and allows users to exchange any type of files between the iPhone and other phones / computers. MeDevil released the 4th beta release to special group of beta testers. MeDevil is silent about the release date, but its expected to be very soon.

iBlueNova is Released On Cydia Store

BTstack Mouse is another free app available on cydia under BigBoss repository which allows you to control your iPhone with Bluetooth enabled mouse with in range, this app is from the same guys behind BTStack Keyboard application which allows you to use iPhone with Bluetooth keyboard.

Not only you can control your iPhone by an Apple Magic Mouse but this app also works fine with other Bluetooth mouse’s.  Once your iPhone is paired with Bluetooth mouse, you will see a cursor on your iPhone screen.

You will first need to pair your iphone with the discoverable Bluetooth enabled mouse, before you start using your iPhone with this application.

Here are some controls as I had observed while using Bluetooth mouse on my iPhone 3G

Right click button on mouse to lock a screen, left click to tap or select, Clicking on scroll wheel act like pressing a home button. Double clicking scroll wheel on lock screen bring mini iPod player.

You can also select a part of text or  whole text by single clicking on left mouse button and then dragging a cursor to select whole text.

If you want to do multi-tasking on your jail-broken iPhone you have an option to got for a paid Multitasking Cydia App called Multiflow. But if you are looking for a free alternative to Multiflow, you will be happy to know that ProSwitcher is available for free on Cydia by BigBoss.

ProSwithcer lets you switch between apps like you can do on an Palm Pre. The applications which you switch, keep running in background.

When you download and Install app called Backgrounder, which allows the apps to run in background, ProSwitcher is like a user interface which allows you to browse through those apps running in background. It also downloads with it LibActivator and PrefernceLoader.

It works pretty well on iPhone 3Gs because of its good speed and more memory it has compared to iPhone 3G and 2G.

You can set the following settings after installing ProSwitcher:

Activation Method 

The method in which you can get to ProSwithcer on your iPhone. It can be though Home or sleep Button. Also It can be trough status bar like it works for SBsettings.

Become Home Screen

You can replace your home screen with ProSwitcher.

Theme and Display Settings

These settings control the look and feel of the ProSwithcer. It also control User Interface related settings of ProSwithcer like Zoom / rounded corners /  Springboard card / close button etc.

To get ProSwithcer, just go to Cydia, search for ProSwithcer, select the one from BigBoss. Install it. It requires a restart of springboard after installation.

We all know that you can run ipod for listening music in the locked state as well by double clicking the home button on your iphone, but in order to skip songs or pause them you will need to tab on the icons shown on the lockscreen when you double click the home button. [ as shown in the image below ]

GlovePod is a free app available in cydia repository and it offers a better control for music playback on your iphone. So all jailbroken iPhones can install this application and allows you to pause or skip songs with volume and sleep buttons  

How To Use GlovePod  

After double-tapping the home button to invoke the iPod control, Now to pause the music, press the sleep button and hold for a couple of second. You can press and hold the sleep button (again for one to two seconds) to resume the playback.

In order to locate this app on cydia just search for “GlovePod” in cydia to install it.The application will be effective after you restart your iphone after its installation.
