Previously some days back both Airtel and Aircel have announced the plans to launch iPhone 4S in India. Aircel has in fact shared on its Facebook page that they will launch the device on November 25th.

As expected the first news has just came few hours ago when airtel india made the official news that they are starting the pre order online on their website. You can do the preorder online this link or check out the pre order stores near by you at this link

But as per our opinion and many others the price at which iphone 4s launched here in India seems too high, as shown in the image below.    

• iPhone 4S 16GB: 44,500 INR or  ($865) [ India ]
• iPhone 4S 32GB: 50,900 INR or ($990) [ India ]

Considering all this Siri which is one of the major feature in iphone 4s does not work in India as if now, if you are still dying to get a 8 megapixel camera go and buy the improperly priced iphone 4s in India and make a pre order with airtel.

How To Buy iPhone 4S For Less Price ?

If you can wait for some time around 1 month or at least till its launch, you can buy the same iphone 4s from Gaffar market in Karol Bagh, Delhi with proper bill for a lesser price which would be 3-4k lesser than the one which you have just read, or if you can wait more around 1 month or more till next year in Jan you can get the same iphone 4s for at least 7-8k less again from Gaffar market.

Yes you can get the warranty over a iphone 4s bought with bill, once its launched here in India.

Apple has stopped signing the older firmware once they release the newer one, so just in case if you are not happy with the new firmware you cannot restore back to the older firmware. What is  SHSH blob or ECID SHSH ? For iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch ?

SHSH blob or ECID SHSH is a unique signature which is checked against Apple servers whenever you decide to restore the firmware on any of your apple device including iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Once a new firmware is released, Apple stops signing the older firmware, hence making it impossible to restore back to the older firmware from iTunes.

So, it is advisable that you backup or save your device SHSH blob or ECID SHSH before you proceed for the jailbreak.

You can backup or save SHSH blob or ECID SHSH in 3 ways, either with AutoSHSH or Firmware Umbrella or directly backup on cydia servers your device might need to be jailbroken already for this with cydia installed.

2.  Run AutoSHSH

3. Make sure you connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch in recovery mode with USB cable

How To Enter Recovery Mode

Power off your apple device and then keep pressing Power / Sleep + Home button until you see the connect to iTunes recovery screen on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

4.  Click the button on the application which says Grab my SHSH Blobs Automatically, now it will automatically upload the SHSH blobs to cydia saurik server.

5. Once it displays the message Done, your device is ready for jailbreaking

Apple App Store has got new feature added on all the paid, apps you can now gift an app to your friend. So, in this way now you can gift any paid app to another iTunes user. You can only pay via credit card to pay for a gifted app.

Once you select the option to gift the app, you can enter the Sender Name and Recipient Name, Recipient email and Message [ optional ] and click Continue shown in the image below

Once you click continue , enter your apple store username and password.

Note: Please make sure that recipient should have the compatible hardware which is iPhone model should support the app and OS version required to install this app on their phones.  

Finally and hopefully for all those who are waiting for iphone 3GS launch will see iPhone 3gs launching in India in next two days on 15 th March 2010. It is expected to be launched with 4 mobile operators including Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance and Aircel.

Plans  – iPhone 3gs in India will be available as locked to the operator for 1 or 2 years with data plan included 500 MB free every one month  on airtel but no idea about the data plan by other operators.

iResq which seems to have leaked some pictures of parts of a new iphone which they have just got for repair, however these pictures does not seem to be real but they might be of the new iphone 4g which will be released in coming  WWDC conference as expected.

Some interpretations that can be made out from these pictures as shown below are, iphone 4g seems to have a big screen, a front face camera for video conferencing, it might have a 5 megapixel camera too.

UK company X2 has announced the iTablet media slate, which aims to provide the features that Apple iPad does not provide.

X2 iTablet Technical Specifications

The iTablet is a 1.18kg unit that runs on the Intel Atom processor with a clock of 1.6GHz. It features 2GB of memory, a hard drive with a storage space of 250GB and either a 10.1-inch or a 12.1-inch screen (1024×768) with the optional touch technology, either resistive or capacitive.

In addition, the tablet PC will have Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and 3G mobile broadband connectivity. It will also feature an optional HDMI output, through which the slate can stream video to an external display which is a very useful feature. X2 iTablet also features a 1.3-megapixel webcam and runs the Windows 7 operating system.

I hope X2 iTablet will be a wonderful device to own, I would like to buy one myself. It will be released in April 2010.

Price of X2 iTablet

The X2 has not revealed any official price details, but i suspect that it will be cheaper than the Apple iPad. So this device should be priced anywhere between $500 to $800.

Apple has just rolled out a new feature called dubbed iTunes Preview which enables you to preview the iphone app descriptions and other details in a web page, you no longer need to have iTunes installed on your computer to open the app and read its features and description.

So, Apple activated the iTunes Preview feature for iPhone / iPod Touch applications in addition, here is a link to new iphone app of photoshop – you can find the application link at the end of this post.

From now on wards, when ever you open an iphone app link it will open up in a cool web page, rather it was used to prompt you to open it in iTunes software that needs to be preinstalled on your PC to preview the app.

Here is how an app will preview in the browser as shown in the image below.

As this features has been enabled you can now see a nice preview of app and you still have the button View In iTunes under the app icon on the page which allows you to open the app in iTunes and install it on iphone or ipod touch.
