iPad is a new tablet from Apple which just started shipping to the customers. As happens with most of the devices in their first version, iPad also has some software level refinements needed to make it a reliable device. This is the reason why we have lots of firmware upgrade on our devices. Recently many customers who just started using their fresh new iPad devices have reported Apple iPad to have problem with joining the wireless Wi-Fi network.

The problem is that when iPad is restarted or wakes from sleep state, it fails to join the known and remembered WiFi wireless network.

As Explained by Apple :

Under certain conditions, iPad may not automatically rejoin a known Wi-Fi network after restart or waking from sleep. This can occur with some third-party Wi-Fi routers that are dual-band capable when:

• • Using the same network name for each network
  • Using different security settings for each network

Solution To iPad Unable To Join WiFi Network Error

To solve the problem of iPad not joining back the known wireless network, follow the steps below as suggested by Apple :

If you encounter this issue, try the following:

• Create separate Wi-Fi network names to identify each band. This can be done easily by appending one or more characters to the current network name.
  • Example:  Add a G to the 802.11b/g network name and an N to the 802.11n network name.
• Ensure that both networks use the same security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2, and so on)

If the issue persists, reset your network settings using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Note: Always ensure that your Wi-Fi router firmware is up to date.

Apple has launched their log awaited iPad, and a large number of sales around 3 lacks iPad were being sold at the first day after its launch. But as some users are reporting their iPad are not getting charged through USB ports on their computer, or for some it is slow charging.

For all those who are facing issues in charging their iPad with Computer USB should try a powerful USB 2.0 port, for old computers or new ones not all the ports of the computer are 2.0 but rather they might be 1.1 USB Port which might not able to give enough power to a big apple iPad which is much bigger than a iPhone.

Still, if your problem is not solved then you can try charging with 10-watt USB power adapter which comes with iPad, it will fully charge the iPad within hours.

Note:  If you cant charge it from USB Power adapter, then when you connect to those low-powered USB port, iPad may still able to get some extra power (even through at a slower rate) to work without any issue.
