The final version of balcksn0w is released on cydia, some bugs has been fixed WiFi Issues and boot loops, it has now being repacked release of the original version released by GeoHot with some fixes being done by the MSFT Guy.
It will not get installed on our iphone if you don’t have the firmware 3.1.2 and 3.1.3, it also checks the baseband version which should be 05.11.07
In order to install this latest stable version of blacksn0w and unlock your iphone 3g and 3gs, follow the step by step procedure given below.
1. Start cydia on your iphone
2. Tap manage tab at the bottom
3. Now tap Sources and then tab edit and then add button to add the following repository
http://cydia.pushfix.info
4. Now it will add the repo and update the repository, then tap the button return to cydia
5. Now search for blacksn0w RC2
6. Install it and restart your phone, and insert any SIM card you will see the signal.
PS: I have just tested this tool to unlock my iphone 3g so that I could use MTNL 3g on my phone, the iphone was unlocked easily and started getting mtnl trumph signal. If you still face any issues after installing this tool you can uninstall it any time.
